About Us

Philosophy

The early years of a child’s life are a time of wonder, exploration, and immense growth. As carers and educators, we are privileged to play a role in each child’s development, and we believe that children thrive in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.

As a small centre with only 40 places, we are uniquely positioned to provide individualised care. Our educators build strong, meaningful relationships with each child and their family, fostering a close-knit community where children feel secure, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. We work in partnership with families to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children in our care. This also allows us to truly support children with additional needs; our educators have experience with children with diabetes and autism, in additional to support those from diverse cultures and language.

Our learning programs and curriculum are guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), as well as the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, the Education and Care Services National Regulations, and the National Quality Standard. These frameworks underpin our commitment to providing the highest quality early childhood education and care.

We aim to nurture confident, capable learners who step into the world with a strong sense of self, who value diversity, and who understand how they contribute to their community. Our educators celebrate the rich diversity of cultures, languages, and experiences within our centre and beyond, fostering an inclusive environment where children learn to respect, value, and embrace differences.

We recognise that parents want the very best for their children, and we believe open, honest communication between educators, parents, and children is key to achieving this. We welcome feedback and continuously strive to improve our services, ensuring we provide an enriching and inspiring learning environment for every child in our care.

Play-Based Learning

We believe that play is a vital component of every child’s development and are guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework. Through a diverse range of activities, materials and experiences, children are encouraged to explore, discover, and extend their learning in meaningful ways.

We respect children’s natural curiosity and believe in allowing them to play without unnecessary adult interruption. By encouraging them to make choices and navigate challenges independently, we support the development of confidence, resilience, and problem-solving skills.

Health & Safety

Your child’s health and safety is our utmost priority, and we adhere to Victoria’s Child Safe Safe Standards.

We believe every child has the right to feel safe and be safe. We provide our educators with on-going training, and we are always striving for continuous improvement.

We meet the National Quality Standard for Children's Health and Safety (Quality Area 2) and for a safe and clean Physical Environment (Quality Area 3).

We strictly enforce the National Model Code For Taking Pictures or Images of Children, restricting the use of devices to centre-only. This is inclusive of all centre staff and visitors, including parents.
