Programs

Play-Based Learning

We believe that play is a vital component of every child’s development. That’s why we follow a play-based learning program guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework. Through a diverse range of activities, materials and experiences, children are encouraged to explore, discover, and extend their learning in meaningful ways.

We respect children’s natural curiosity and believe in allowing them to play without unnecessary adult interruption. By encouraging them to make choices and navigate challenges independently, we support the development of confidence, resilience, and problem-solving skills.

Each child’s learning and development is continually assessed through an ongoing cycle of observing, planning, documentation, and evaluation. Our Educational Leader, in collaboration with our educators, has designed a program that fosters freedom of choice, exploration, and independence—ensuring that all child’s unique strengths and interests are nurtured.

Outdoor Learning

A large portion of the day is allocated to time outside. Our beautiful outdoor space includes a sandpit, climbing equipment, a large tree house, and a small garden where child tend to their own plants. We also regularly use the outdoor area for lunch and tea.

Beyond developing an appreciation of nature, we believe time outside helps promote a healthy, active lifestyle at an early age. Additionally, it offers numerous opportunities for development, including motor and social skills, as well as cognitive functions, such as risk assessment.
